One of the biggest misnomers about Online Advertising is that it is not "creative". Well, you can put that theory to rest. Creativity in Advertising and Marketing is all about grabbing attention and ROI. Online advertising presents ample scope in both areas.

The first thing is the format. These days the minimum you can do for your ad is to include your phone no. so if someone feels like, he can straightaway give you a call. It also pays to be direct, since you are competing with so many others. We present a simple example:

As you can see, my headline "Rs 7500 = Two Websites" is sure to catch attention amidst other ads. Also note that the phone no. is mentioned right beneath the URL in my ad, which saves me precious space in my main advertising message.

Now we come to the best possible and effective combination in Online Advertising - matching of the keywords and the page content with Ad content, as you can see below:

The last bit of innovation we can talk about is "Sitelinks". These are parts of your website that can be built right into your Ad. This is again a fantastic attention grabbing device.

Another exciting innovation, applicable mainly to smart devices with browsers and GPS is the "built in" location pointer. If your GPS is switched on, Google will serve you ads with the additional information about the physical location. This way, if you wish to, you can actually visit that establishment.

Of course, the last one is a real exciting one because it goes mere text and includes animation and images or both. These are Display Ads which runs on Google AdSense partner sites. These ads are colourful, animated and attention grabbing.
